The Guadalupe 220 Three-Day Cross-peninsula Trip is Not a Race, It's a Time Travel Journey.

Updated: Sep 19

Yes we understand that it's fun to drive fast off-road and pretend you're in the Baja 1000 race. Our trips leave plenty of room for testing your driving skills and the "performance" of your vehicle. We get it. It's an amazing feeling to drive fast through a remote open desert.

It's also an amazing feeling to crawl slowly through a quiet remote desert while you smell the cactus blossoms and notice the details of the terrain and all the life around you...such as all the hidden "ranchitos" with their own mini oasis...

Speed is not what this 220 mile three day trip is about. We take about 6 hours to do each 80 to 100 mile segment. This trip is about letting go of speed and travelling back in time to a different era, and showing respect to the people who are keeping that era alive.

This trip is about exploring a vast unpopulated majestic desert, while also making new friends with the people who actually live in Baja's most remote mountain regions.
