Guided Off-Road Tours
Northern Baja Sur, Mexico
The inland mountains, remote beaches and canyon country of Northern Baja Sur has some of the most awe inspiring scenery on the planet. This area is also the heartland of Baja's "Ranchero" culture, ancient cave paintings and Mission sites. Many of the remote ranches have been continuously inhabited by the same families for hundreds of years, since the days of the Jesuits in the 1700s.

This area of Baja Sur between Mulege, Loreto, La Purisima, San Juanico and San Miguel de Comondu is one of the most isolated regions of Baja. The roads are very rough (sometimes requiring “adjustments” to the layout of the boulders). It’s easy to get lost or disoriented, with no cell service and very few people available to help if mechanical trouble or other issues come up.
Alta Baja Sur guided trips bring you to places you would not have dared to go on your own. Let us to guide you on the bad roads, and introduce you to the good people who choose to live in this otherworldly stretch of the peninsula.
